The choir was established to perform choral music of the highest quality, a tradition it maintains to this day.  We are proud to perform with top-ranking soloists and professional orchestras. We are innovative and always enjoy adding new music to our repertoire of traditional works.

DCU  has more than 90 members with an age range of young and more experienced voices, all of whom we value! To encourage younger members we offer choral scholarships for singers aged 25 years or younger.

We are now one of the foremost choirs in the East Midlands, performing at various venues in Derbyshire.

We've also enjoyed two successful tours in Italy and are planning another in Germany. In June 2007, we were invited to sing Evensong at Merton College, Oxford.
