WELCOME to Derby Choral Union, one of the foremost choirs in the East Midlands, which performs traditional choral works ~ by Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Bach and Dvořák ~ as well as music by 20th Century and more contemporary composers such as Elgar, Walton, Rutter, Karl Jenkins and Will Todd.
Our Patron is the internationally ac- claimed soprano Dame Emma Kirkby, whose Patron’s concerts are highlights in our concert calendar. Shehas been our Patron since May 1993 and continues to be most supportive.
There have been many thrilling and memorable concerts over the years – if you haven’t been to one and love good classical music, do come along to our next concert and see how you enjoy it.
